Spring 2021 has appeared to be one of the coldest so far. But it was not an excuse for the Webix team to stop improving our product. Here is a list of the Webix achievements of this spring:
I do not know how it is in your location, but in Webix motherland it is the coldest spring ever. Yet it really motivates to work hard and stay productive to deliver new features to our customers. Today we are glad to present a new complex widget, Webix Diagram, as well as new timeline and day units views for Scheduler, split tasks for Gantt and usability improvement for Spreadsheet.

Today we talked to Doug Averch. Doug is the CTO and owner of the U2logic software company based in the United States. The company deals with foodservice companies. Doug is currently the only developer as well. When COVID broke out, he was left alone, as foodservice companies reduced the demand for software and their company couldn’t afford to keep its developers. But that should be changing in a couple of months, when they get back to normal, according to Doug.
We have a nice opportunity to talk to Doug and to know his feedback on our product.

Webix 8.0 was released. Among the most important changes and updates:
In the middle of the yellow leaves season we are excited to announce the annual grand release of Webix. In version 8.0 you can find new complex widgets for planning and scheduling: Scheduler and Gantt. Also, the release includes updates for Spreadsheet, horizontal Timeline, new controls for time and color selection, dynamic tooltips and enhanced Datatable performance.
