Autumn 2021 has handed its power over to winter. Let’s recall what this autumn was noted for.

Barely a month passed after the latest release that brought you a bunch of compelling features. And already today we are happy to deliver Webix 9.1. Even though not that big, yet with pleasant updates. With the new version Chat users can share files with each other, while Spreadsheet supports even more math functions.

L.M. Montgomery once said: “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”. We cannot but agree, and she didn’t even know that Autumns are special not only for their beauty and blue vibes but also for Webix annual grand releases. The 9.0 brings you rethought Pivot widget, long awaited UX and API updates for Diagram and its Editor, separate working calendars for resources and UTC support in Gantt, minor updates for Spreadsheet and Core. Let’s proceed to the details.

In Belarus, summer is never enough. This year it was surprisingly hot and full of sunshine. But we have come to the end of it, and it’s time to look back to see what we have achieved so far.

It is still hot as blazes here, in our homeland. Thankfully, the skies have pity on us from time to time and grant the salutary clouds for a couple of hours. Today we, as to say, carpe diem and are here to deliver… Guess what? Webix 8.4, of course! The update brought you a complementary Diagram Editor tool, an ability to perform audio and video calls in Chat, increased performance in Gantt, and other small yet pleasant improvements in Spreadsheet and Core. So get your ice-cold coke and let’s start.

I do not know how it is in your location, but in Webix motherland it is the coldest spring ever. Yet it really motivates to work hard and stay productive to deliver new features to our customers. Today we are glad to present a new complex widget, Webix Diagram, as well as new timeline and day units views for Scheduler, split tasks for Gantt and usability improvement for Spreadsheet.

Had hardly we said good-bye to snowflakes and garlands, the birdsongs herald the approach of spring. But warm news does not end here. New version brings significant upgrades for Gantt, new math engine for Spreadsheet, updates for File Manager and Webix Core. So let’s dive in!

Seven year ago on July 7th, Webix was released for the first time. During these years the library grew up into the mature eco-system for building web applications and gathered a large audience of developers.
